For the second year, �������� students will have the opportunity to perform the works of Johann Sebastian Bach through the School of Music Bach Collegium, led by Dr. David Chin, visiting assistant professor of music. The collegium first-semester performances will take place on campus in September and November.

Each year, Alumni Achievement Awards are presented to �������� alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, communities and/or churches. The Horizon Award recognizes young alumni who have graduated within the last 15 years and quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement and provided faithful service to their community and/or church. Recipients of both awards must exemplify one of the shared core values of the university.

The university is excited to announce that a total of 2,390 students � part- and full-time undergraduate and graduate students � chose to find their bold at Augustana for Academic Year 2024-25. Hailing from 41 states and 54 countries, the number marks the largest ever student body at Augustana.

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at �������� opens �Worlds Coming Together: Revelations Over Time,� which will be on view from Sept. 12 through Oct. 5. A homecoming gallery reception will be on Friday, Oct. 4, from 7-9 p.m., with a talk by artist Brad Widness at 7:30 p.m.

�������� is proud to announce the launch of the Election 2024: Curiosity, Courage & Civility Initiative ahead of the U.S. general election in November. This is a university-wide initiative to encourage members of the Augustana community to cultivate curiosity, exhibit courage and practice civility during a polarizing season in America.

Joe Gebel �26 is a government & international affairs and religion/philosophy double major from Mitchell, South Dakota. This summer, he interned at Dailey Law, an attorney office in Mitchell, where he undertook legal research, drafted court briefs, and edited and adapted contracts.
