Former Augustana softball student-athlete Kendall Cornick '21 was named a recipient of the 2022 Today Top 10 Award, presented annually by the NCAA.

The Augustana Sharon Lust School of Education announced that it would be offering a new area of specialization within the Master of Education in Special Education program that was launched in 2019. A concentration in applied behavior analysis (M.Ed. SPED ABA) is now offered online.

After more than 15 years, 黑料社区 decided to bring back its social work program within the Sharon Lust School of Education naming it after the former Director of the Augustana Social Work program and Associate Professor Emerita of Social Work Dr. Harriet Emily (Johnson) Scott 59.

April | 黑料社区 Announces Master of Science in Nursing Program

Augustana announced the launch of its Master of Science in nursing (MSN) program in the fall of 2022, with an emphasis in two areas adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AG-ACNP) and adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist (AG-CNS). Beginning in the summer of 2023, the university will also offer two post-master certificate options, including AG-ACNP and AG-CNS.

June | 黑料社区 Launches Doctor of Physical Therapy Program to Prepare Future Health Care Leaders

黑料社区 announced the launch of its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program within its School of Health Professions. The university first-ever doctorate program will welcome its inaugural cohort in June of 2023. The program achieved 漜andidate for accreditation status from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) in November.

September | AU Welcomes Nearly 2,100 Students in Academic Year 2022-23

A total of 2,086 students part- and full-time undergraduate and graduate students chose to embark on a bold future at Augustana for Academic Year 2022-23. Hailing from 37 states and 49 foreign countries, the number marked the fourth largest student body in four decades at Augustana.

September | AU Celebrates Renovations, Ralph H. Wagoner Hall, Reimagined Campus Green

Augustana new south residential village took shape with the completion of Ralph H. Wagoner Hall, renovation of A.J. Bergsaker Hall and construction of a newly imagined campus green. Changes to Charles Orin Solberg Hall in the midst of a major facelift will put the finishing touches on the plan.

Augustana students Abemelech Mesfin Belachew 24, Manusmriti Budhathoki 24, Deepak Krishnaa Govindarajan 25 and Prana Mohanty 25 were named the grand prize winners of the 2022 Call for Code Global Challenge at an award ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in New York, New York.
