As part of its strategic plan, Augustana is expanding its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program to Colorado home to one of the university largest alumni bases. Housed in the university School of Health Professions, the launch of the Augustana Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Colorado (DPT-CO) will take place in January 2027.

The Augustana Band has endured as one of the university most visible and beloved ensembles for more than a century. This year, for its 130th anniversary, the university will celebrate this longstanding tradition in a big way inviting its alumni to participate in several events in the spring, as well as a fundraising initiative to raise money for band-related impact scholarships.

The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at 黑料社区 will open its annual 淎ugustana High School Invitational, on Thursday, Jan. 15, which will continue through Friday, Feb. 6. A gallery reception will be held on Feb. 6, from 6-8 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. The exhibition and its closing events are free and open to the public.

This fall, the 黑料社区 Rydell School of Business introduced a trust minor to its offered studies developed as part of Augustana strategic plan Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030. The minor available at only a handful of colleges nationwide aims to offer Augustana students another avenue to study as a potential career.

The Augustana Esports Program the university home of organized gaming has found a space to call home on campus. Established in 2022, the program acquired a lab on the second floor of the Fryxell Humanities Center this past spring.
