In October 2021, ºÚÁÏÉçÇø announced that it will be home to the Viking Men Hockey program ” set to take the ice in the fall of 2023. Peter (Pete) and Marilyn Hegg are generous supporters of one of the zambonis or ice resurfacers at Midco Arena, as well as an endowed scholarship, which will be named after them.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is excited to announce the launch of its Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program within its School of Health Professions. The university first-ever doctorate program will welcome its inaugural cohort in June of 2023. 

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø will offer brewing & fermentation as a minor beginning in the fall of 2022 ” adding to the list of interdisciplinary academic programs being developed as part of Augustana strategic plan .

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø announced students who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2021-22 academic year.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Sharon Lust School of Education will host its 14th annual Lighting the Way Autism Conference at Memorial Middle School in Sioux Falls, on Thurs., June 9, and Fri., June 10. 

The university is proud to announce that Augustana Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) was honored at the 44th annual banquet, held on May 12, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
